Preparation
No fasting. Avoid tight necklaces or high collars.
How it’s performed
Neck scan with linear probe and Doppler to measure velocities and characterize plaques.
Results & follow-up
Digital report and images the same day; printed copy available.
Common indications
- Dizziness, blurred vision, or transient neurologic episodes
- Cardiovascular risk factors (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia)
- Follow-up after endarterectomy or stent
- Family history of stroke
